Adonis is growing into a stallion who has much to offer the curly breed. He has the opportunity to add his longer neck, hip and legs to a curl breeding program. He is also very curly in the winter and shows beautiful ripples in his summer coat. he has a long mane and tail except for when he rubs it out eating grass through the fence. In the winter it grows to be about 8 – 10 inches long.
Measuring 14.2 at a year, Adonis is a good candidate to be our Junior stallion and offer some size and sport to the curly gene pool. He himself is very curly in winter and shows many ripples in his summer coat. Named for the most handsome Greek God, no doubt he will prove to look like those white statues one day when he greys out like Silver.
Update: Adonis is already over 15 hh at a year and a half. Fairly confident he will reach, if not exceed 16 hh like his dam.
